Lobo de Rizzo strengthens its partnership structure with promotions and expands female leadership in strategic areas
The move strengthens practices related to the economic agenda and reflects the firm’s commitment to diversity, with six women among those promoted
São Paulo, May 5, 2026 - Lobo de Rizzo announces the promotion of seven senior lawyers to its partnership — six women and one man — in a move that reflects both consistent progress in developing leadership and the strengthening of key practice areas for the business environment. The promotions span the Tax, Labor and Employment, Finance and Capital Markets, and Due Diligence practices. With this new round, the firm now has a total of 50 partners.
According to Marcelo Bez Debatin da Silveira, Managing Partner at Lobo de Rizzo, the new partnership composition reflects a growth strategy grounded in talent development and integrated advisory on critical matters for domestic and international companies across various sectors and industries, operating in an environment of increasing regulatory and economic complexity. “The composition of this cycle is the result of a continuous effort, built on an environment that fosters the development of diverse leadership and consistent career paths. This movement is fully aligned with our growth strategy and with the way we structure our teams and client relationships,” he adds.
In the Tax practice, Arthur Nogueira, Caroline Ortiz Junqueira Jones and Renata Hollanda join the partnership at a particularly relevant moment for the field. The implementation of Brazil’s Tax Reform introduces a structural transformation of the country’s tax system, requiring companies to undertake significant reviews of their operational chains, pricing models, and contractual structures. In this context, legal advisory plays an even more central role in anticipating impacts and developing solutions aligned with business objectives.
In the Labor practice, Marina Camargo Aranha’s promotion takes place amid an environment of intense legal debate surrounding working arrangements, including discussions related to the proposed constitutional amendment addressing the 6x1 work schedule, as well as new hiring models. Particular attention has been given to the debate over the use of independent contractors (so-called “pejotização”) and its implications before higher courts. This scenario has increased the demand for more strategic and preventive approaches, focused on risk mitigation and the development of safer and more sustainable employment relationships.
In Finance and Capital Markets, Beatriz Rocha and Marília do Valle Farias are promoted to partner in a context marked by the expansion and increasing sophistication of financing transactions in Brazil. The growing diversification of capital sources and the complexity of financial structures have driven demand for increasingly specialized legal advisory, capable of combining technical rigor with a strong business perspective.
The promotion of Carla Felix also strengthens the firm’s Due Diligence practice, which is already well established internally and now gains a dedicated partner. In a more complex business environment, with greater demand for risk assessments that directly impact decision-making, Lobo de Rizzo positions Due Diligence as a key differentiator, combining technology, well-defined processes, and a consistent reporting methodology. A pioneer in the adoption of technological solutions in M&A transactions, the firm will expand this expertise to other areas, including regulatory, real estate, and capital markets.
